Coating Systems

This table describes coating systems for FPU products. It is indended for guideline purpose. Prior to implementing the specifications of a particular system, please contact the manufacturer or nearest representative for final evaluation. Example of recognized Associations: NACE, SSPC and Concrete Institute of America . Important to specify if VOC requirement is 2.8 or 3.5. FPUWC series color pigment are in compliance with US Federal specifications 595B and Australian color standards. Warranties are issued on a project to project basis and vary from one application to another. It is the duty of the Engineering firm and or the contractor to contact the manufacturer for specific details, prior to issuing or making any claim of warranty.

  • Epoxy Mastic Concrete Primer EM32 (3-4 Mils DFT)
  • Epoxy Mastic Intermediate Coat FE316 (3-4 Mils DFT) or Flexible Epoxy for Waste Treatment areas in maintenance and repair areas

Note: Due to the diversified areas of application, please consult with the manufacturer prior to implementing the suggested specs. Some primers and intermediate coats may vary according to the areas of application. For hot and humid tropical geographic areas different types of modified epoxies may be required. While this system may be used as a coating on the bottom of speed boat hulls for reducing drag, it is not intended for use as a fouling release system
